Blaze International (ASX:BLZ) has announced more drill results from its Bluebird copper-gold prospect which is located on the Barkly land package where Blaze can earn a 80% stake from Meteoric Resources. The company encountered some very interesting mineralized zones as hole 12 intersected 31 meters of 2.48% copper, 0.21 g/t gold and 0.03% Bismuth. This includes a very high grade zone of 12 meters at 4.48% copper, 0.23g/t gold and 0.02% bismuth. The width and grades are still increasing at Bluebird and the mineralization remains open along strike and down dip.

Keep in mind these drill results were discovered at low priority zones and the company is still waiting for the exploration results of five holes drilled at a higher priority zone aimed to find a higher average gold grade. Blaze aims to get a JORC-compliant resource estimate completed based on this year’s exploration results and would like to initiate a scoping study based on the maiden resource estimate. 2015 will be a very interesting year for Blaze and we are looking forward to see the results of some metallurgical test work on the Bluebird ore.
