Integra Gold (ICG.V) has discovered the thickest interval to date at the Triangle zone on its Lamaque gold project in Québec. The drill bit intercepts approximately 16 meters of in excess of 1/3rd of an ounce of gold per tonne of rock. The grade itself isn’t very surprising, but to see a mineralized zone of 16 meters is quite extraordinary.

The Triangle zone just keeps on giving and these results are surprising us as we didn’t expect these thick intercepts as the drill program at the Triangle zone mainly consists of step-out drilling right now. No less than five drill rigs were tasked to complete a resource expansion drill program and almost 30,000 meters in 46 drill holes have been completed now.

This drill program now has identified several C-structures at the Triangle zone which seem to be continuous. This could shed an entire new light on the Triangle zone as Integra Gold could now quickly increase the amount of ounces at Triangle. This will extend the mine life at Lamaque and definitely increase the NPV of the project.

We will be travelling to Vancouver shortly and plan to meet with Integra’s management to get a first-hand update on the expected impact of these newly discovered mineralized zones on the company’s development plans.
