Metanor Resources (MTO.V) has continued its exploration efforts at and around the Bachelor Lake gold mine in Québec, and after discovering some very interesting underground mineralization, the company has decided to also have a look at the potential of the surrounding land package.

This bet seems to have been successful as the drill rig has intercepted an interval of 26 meters of 10.1 g/t gold (capped at 31 g/t), but what’s more exciting is the location of the interval as the mineralization starts at a depth of just 6.4 meters. From a technical point of view, Metanor would just need a few excavators and one truck to transport the ore to the Bachelor Lake mill.

Metanor will now drill some follow up holes around this excellent exploration result to find out what the measures of the mineralized zone can be. A surface area of just 20 by 20 meters and a thickness of 25 meters could supply the Bachelor Lake mill one month of mill feed.
