Paradigm Metals (ASX:PDM) has released results from a six hole drill program at its Ladies prospect in Queensland, Australia. These RC holes intersected mineralization which is consistent with an alteration which is typical for Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) deposits in Queensland’s Cloncurry region.

Of interest are the intercept at Lady Kate which intersected 15 meters at 2% copper and 0.34g/t gold including a short interval of 2 meters at 11% copper and almost 2g/t gold from near surface and the Lady Rose hole which intercepted 28 meters at 0.70% copper and 0.14g/t gold. All six holes drilled were relatively shallow (the deepest hole was just 180 meters deep) and were aimed at testing the mineralization underneath a layer of copper oxide.

These are encouraging drill results and we’re looking forward to a follow-up drill program, as the copper-gold mineralization is still open along strike in both directions.
