Liberty One Lithium LBY Pocitos

Liberty One Lithium (LBY.V) is gearing up to  start a geophysical survey at the Pocitos West zone, using a Vertical Electrical Soundings survey. This type of survey detects the variations in the subsurface  conductivity, allowing the company to make the distinction between the different sediment types.

It has been almost 40 years since the Pocitos Salar has been thoroughly explored, as back in 1979 12 shallow holes were drilled of which one hole intersected the brine resulting in assay results of 417 ppm Lithium, which is approximately 500 mg/l based on the expected density of the Pocitos Brine. That’s already pretty decent (Millennial Lithium (ML.V) reported flow rate results with an average grade of 430-438 mg/l), and as lithium ‘sinks’ towards the bottom of the brine, a shallow drill result might not be fully representative for what might be underneath the surface at Pocitos.
