Prize Mining (PRZ.V) has now completed its initial drill program at Daylight, where it drilled 18 holes from 11 drill pads for a total of 2,700 meters. Assay results obviously aren’t available yet, and we would expect to see the initial assay results of the first eight holes which have been sent to the lab by the end of this month or early December, depending on whether or not Prize releases the assay results in batches.

As mentioned, all 18 holes were drilled on the Daylight property, but the company hopes to be in a position to start a drill program at the Toughnut project as well. According to Prize, the permitting phase is in the final stages of consultation and a permit could be approved any day now as the company thinks it’s possible to start a drill program on the high-priority drill targets before the end of this month.
