Red Eagle Exploration XR California Los Andes

Red Eagle Exploration (XR) is still working on a sampling program to get a better understanding of the California gold project in preparation of a diamond drill program. The company has now released the assay results from a sampling program at the Los Andes zone which is just north of Santa Catalina and approximately 400 meters east-northeast from the Machuca zone.

A total of 33 samples were taken at Mina Los Andes, which returned an average grade of 3.3 g/t gold and almost 5 ounces of silver per tonne, whilst the 11 samples at the Los Andes Sur zone were even more impressive with an average grade of 6.8 g/t gold and 226 g/t silver. This works out to be almost 10 g/t gold on a gold-equivalent basis. Three additional samples were taken from Santa Catalina Sur where Red Eagle Exploration followed up on the mineralization in the neighborhood of artisanal mines.

All three zones remain open at depth and along strike and will very likely be the subject of a diamond drill program as soon as Red Eagle has narrowed down the drill targets.
