Although Canterra Minerals’ (CTM.V) recent focus was on its Buchans critical minerals project in Newfoundland, the company initially started out as a gold exploration deal in the same province. Canterra has now completed the reprocessing of older geophysical datasets and in combination with the analysis of new data, the company’s technical team has now outlined five multi-kilometer exploration targets at Wilding.

According to the company, each target has the same key geological characteristics analogous to the Valentine Gold Mine, which borders the project to the west and will be in production in the next few months. Based on the new data, Canterra will now initiate a basal till sampling program on the five targets and this will hopefully result in prioritizing some drill targets.
