Although most of the attention currently is going towards District Metals’ (DMX.V) flagship Viken project, District has several other projects in its Swedish portfolio that are highly prospective for uranium mineralization.

Subsequent to the completion and interpretation of the data gathered from an airborne radiometric and magnetic survey on its Sagtjarn project in Sweden, District Metals applied for another mineral license which includes the newly discovered anomalies. This decision was made after the known uranium polymetallic occurrences stood out and highlighted similar occurrences in new target areas. As those new areas were previously either obscured by glacial till or simply un(der)explored, there is no data available beyond District’s airborne survey so it will be interesting to see what District’s first pass exploration programs will dig up.
