Eagle Plains Resources (EPL.V) has announced its summer 2025 field work has been completed on the Hearne Hill South project, a copper-gold porphyry project located in the prospective Babine porphyry district. The district includes the past-producing Granisle and Bell mines, and other noteworthy projects are the Duke project owned by Amarc Resources in a joint venture with Swedish outfit Boliden, and the NAK project owned by American Eagle Gold.

The exploration program consisted of a 32 line kilometer soil geochemical sampling program, where samples were collected at a 50 meter spacing on east-west oriented lines. The sampling program was designed to prioritize future exploration targets and followed up on a 286 line kilometer airborne magnetic survey. The results of the exploration program are still pending, and the company will of course release all the relevant data once it has been completed and interpreted.
