Element 29 Resources (ECU.V) has received the environmental certification under a Declaracion de Impacto Ambiental from the relevant Peruvian ministry. That’s an important step for the company as it is an important step towards securing a PIA drilling permit at Paka. That would pave the way to complete a maiden drill program at the extensive Paka porphyry-skarn copper-zinc-gold-silver project in Southern Peru.
The DIA environmental certification allows for up to 40 drill platforms during a five year period and that of course is useful to design an efficient drill program for Paka.
Meanwhile Element 29 continues to work on its flagship Elida copper-molybdenum-silver project with two drill rigs currently on site. The remaining 2,300 meters of the current 7,000 meter drill program should be completed by the end of this month, and assay results will of course be released when they are available. Meanwhile, the company is still waiting for the Elida PIA to approve an additional 5,000 meters of drilling in the first semester of 2026.
