Li-FT Power (LIFT.V) has announced it has largely completed its 2025 environmental baseline studies program on its flagship Yellowknife lithium project, which is the first year of a two year seasonal baseline data program. These baseline data are required for the advanced permitting stage, including applying for an environmental assessment. The program was led by an indigenous-owned environmental services firm owned by a local First Nation, and focused on the areas immediately adjacent to known pegmatite dykes and the potential infrastructure locations.

The company also reported on the results of its exploration program on the Cali project, located on the border of NWT and the Yukon Territory. The field work consisted of 43 rock samples collected from surface dyke exposures while the exploration team cut 24 channels (with a length of 2-23 meters) resulting in 187 one meter samples. The data from the 2025 exploration program will be helpful to determine future work at Cali to determine the size and economic potential, but it goes without saying the main driver of the company’s valuation is the Yellowknife Lithium project.
