Southern Silver Exploration (SSV.V) has released the assay results from five more holes that were completed as part of the 2025-2026 drill program, including an extension of a single hole from 2012. The headline result s a very robust 6.3 meters of 874 g/t slver-equivalent (consisting of 395 g/t silver, 0.8% copper and almost 18% ZnPb), including an interval of 1.5 meters with an average grade of just over 2,000 g/t silver-equivalent.

That’s of course the best hole of the batch, but other holes (with two assay results highlighted below) also encountered decent-grade intervals in the skarn-altered halo immediately adjacent to the central intrusion.

The 2025-2026 drill program has now been completed and the drill rigs have been demobilized. Southern Silver reported on 20 of the 23 holes already, and we expect to see the assay results of the final three holes in the next few weeks. We are also waiting to see the assay results from the underground sampling program that was completed at the Puro Corazon workings.

Once all results will have been completed, we’ll sit down with VP Exploration Robert Macdonald again to discuss the potential impact of the higher grade Puro Corazon drill results and how this will tie into the Greater Cerro Las Minitas project and strategy.
