Tocvan Ventures (TOC.C) has released the assay results for three more holes completed on its flagship Gran Pilar gold-silver project in Mexico’s Sonora state. Hole JES-25-114 clearly is the best hole of the three as the grades encountered in holes 113 and 115 wouldn’t even make the traditional cutoff grade for an open pit heap leach operation. But hole 114 is better with for instance 41.18 meters of 1.02 g/t gold although this is mainly carried by the 6.1 meters of 5.43 g/t gold. This indicates the remaining 35.08 meters have an average grade of just 0.25 g/t gold.

Meanwhile, the additional interval just slightly below the high-grade zone which contains 0.84 g/t gold over 7.63 meters would also still make the cutoff grade. As these holes were following up on a previous scout drill program, it is clear the mineralization is widespread over the property and now it’s up to the company’s technical team to connect the dots.
The assay results for seven additional holes are still pending.
