Comstock’s core drill program will consist of 1,500 meters of diamond drilling which will predominantly focus on the resource expansion potential along strike (towards the west and east) of the VG deposit. The diamond drill program will try to confirm the results from the Rotary Air Blast program (the assay results of an RAB drill program cannot be used for an updated resource calculation, so the diamond drill program will be very useful to increase the resources at QV which currently contains 230,000 ounces of gold).
We would expect to see the first assay results from the Yukon drill program towards the end of October. We are looking forward to see the assay results from the Preview SW project in Saskatchewan, where drilling has ended a few weeks ago, as we believe Comstock Metals is in an excellent position to increase the gold resource on both properties.
