Eagle Plains Resources (EPL.V) has provided an update on the Olson Gold project in Saskatchewan, where it has a 25/75 joint venture with SKRR Exploration (with SKRR owning 75% of the JV after completing the required steps as part of a 2019 option agreement. SKRR completed in excess of 6,500 meters of drilling in 40 holes with some interesting results in the very first drill program with almost 40 meters containing 1.09 g/t gold and 31 meters containing 0.51 g/t gold. The follow-up drill programs in the subsequent years helped to continue to improve the understanding of the gold mineralization, but no drilling has taken place since 2022.

The planning for a 2025 work program is currently underway and it will be interesting to see if the partners will focus on the main Olson Zone or if the exploration targets will see some attention as well. Eagle Plains highlighted two additional showings that could be worth following up on.

At the end of 2024, Eagle Plains had a positive working capital position of C$9.2M. That’s approximately 8 cents per share.
