FinEx Metals (FINX.V) has confirmed the start of its drill program on the Ruoppa gold project, located in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt in Finland. This initial drill program will consist of 2,500 meters of core drilling and will test the high-priority drill targets that were defined by previous trenching and Top of Bedrock programs. Drilling will focus on the Ruoppa East area where previous exploration stints unveiled a series of high-grade gold targets scattered over a 2.7 kilometer strike length.

A previously completed rock grab sample program returned 52 values with grades exceeding 1 g/t gold with the higher value coming back at 95.1 g/t gold so there appear to be some expectations here although this first drill program will mainly be important for the technical implications and to understand the distribution and continuity of the gold mineralization.
