NV Gold (NVX.V) will be active this winter as the company has confirmed a drill rig has arrived on site at the Slumber Gold project, less than 100 kilometers northwest of Winnemucca, Nevada. Drilling has started by now and we expect the company to rapidly complete the 10 hole, 2,500 meter drill program.

And NV Gold won’t be just drilling Slumber. Elsewhere in Nevada, the company has completed the preparations on the drill pads that will be used for the upcoming 1,500 meter drill program (also in 10 holes) where the company will be targeting high-grade gold veins. The high-priority targets have now been prepared for drilling, and drilling will start after completing the Slumber program. This indicates we will probably have a continuous news flow from January on as NV Gold will be able to release the assay results from the Slumber drill program, immediately followed by the assay results from Sandy, where neighbour Eclipse Gold Mining (EGLD.V) will likely remain active as well.

Since acquiring the Exodus gold project in August, NV Gold has been active in British Columbia as well as it completed a 2 km² soil geochemistry grid, dug a bunch of trenches and conducted additional geophysical surveys over the entire project. The results of the exploration program have now been received by the company and its technical team is analyzing all date. NV Gold promised an update in the next few weeks after it completes its internal review.
