Overview
While the USA considers Canada a friendly nation and the Athabasca Basin is a world-renowned epicenter for uranium, we expect the United States to try to (re-)develop a domestic uranium supply chain again. This will help the ‘usual suspects’ which have idled their past production, but it could also provide a tailwind for exploration stage companies like Kraken Energy (UUSA.C, UUSAF) which owns exploration properties in Utah and Nevada. The Utah property is currently being drilled.
