Overview
Quimbaya Gold (CSE: QIM, OTCQB: QIMGF, FSE: K05) is a Canadian-based gold exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral properties in Colombia’s Segovia district, Antioquia. The company’s flagship Tahami project spans nearly 25,000 hectares and sits adjacent to Aris Mining’s Segovia mine, one of the highest-grade gold mines in the world. Initially known for targeting high-grade gold vein systems, Quimbaya’s story evolved significantly in late 2025 with the discovery of a large copper-molybdenum-gold porphyry target at Tahami Center, giving the company two distinct and meaningful exploration fronts.
With approximately C$11M in cash following a C$14.4M bought deal financing closed in November 2025, Quimbaya is fully funded to execute an ambitious 15,000-metre drill programme in 2026. This includes continued drilling on the high-grade vein system at Tahami South and a maiden drill programme on the porphyry target at Tahami Center. The company trades at a market capitalisation of roughly C$27.5M, with about 40% currently backed by cash. Led by CEO Alexandre P. Boivin, Quimbaya also holds two additional projects (Berrio and Maitamac) covering a combined portfolio of approximately 59,000 hectares across Antioquia.
