Integra Resources (ITR.V, ITRG) has announced two new appointments to its team. Earlier in March, Scott Guay joined the company as Vice President Project Development, bringing almost three decades of experience in engineering and project delivery services to Integra. Guay is joining Integra from Kinross Gold.

Additionally, the company has appointed Mr. Chantal Lavoie to its board of directors. Lavoie is, just like Scott Guay, an engineer and comes with over four decades of experience in the mining sector. He most recently was the COO of Rio Tinto Iron Ore Company of Canada, responsible for operating Canada’s largest iron ore district. Before taking on the Iron Ore of Canada job, Lavoie was COO of Dominion Diamond and CEO of Crocodile Gold. He currently also is the chairman of Troilus Mining, which plans to reopen a past-producing copper-gold mine in Quebec.
