Amex Exploration (AMX.V) ha released the assay results from 27 holes drilled on its Denise Zone, which is part of the Eastern Gold Zone on the Perron project. The holes were a mix of expansion and definition drilling.

The expansion drilling towards the eastern area of the Denise Zone has now successfully extended the known gold mineralization for a strike length of approximately 950 meters and this confirms the mineralization is continuing on the other side of the diabase which runs from North to South through the property. While it’s still early days on the Eastern zone of Denise, the assay results from the holes Amex has reported could point towards a substantial increase in the total tonnage of mineralized rock at Denise.  Two historical drill holes on this eastern end of the Denise Zone were not fully sampled by the previous operator and Amex Exploration will investigate if it can use the historical core for additional sampling programs.

The exploration update also contained assay results from holes drilled on the Western Denise Zone where there appears to be an interesting high-grade envelope developing. According to Jacques Trottier, Executive Chairman of Amex, the infill drill program on Western Denise has now begun indicating higher grade or shoots which create optionality as Denise hosts the lower-grade bulk tonnage mineralization as well as the higher grade shoots at depth.
