Earlier in April, Arras Minerals (ARK.V) released the assay results from three holes drilled on the Beskauga flagship project in Kazakhstan. All three holes encountered mineralization but with varying levels of interest. Hole Bg22015 encountered almost 780 meters of mineralization at an average grade of 0.40% copper-equivalent (consisting of just 0.13% copper but stronger gold grades (0.31 g/t gold) and the hole provides additional data on what appears to be a south-southwest dipping higher grade core of the system. Meanwhile, the mineralization remains open at depth and laterally so it should be relatively easy to continue to build tonnage.

Holes 14 and 17 (drilled approximately 3,200 meters south of the main Beskauga deposit were weaker with just 336 meters of 0.25 g/t gold-equivalent and 500 meters of 0.22g/t gold-equivalent which isn’t a money maker, even at $2000 gold. The focus however remains on copper and the company continues to work on expanding the Beskauga copper deposit.
