Equity Metals (EQTY.V) has released the final assay results from the Spring 2023 drill program at Silver Queen. The company released assay results of four holes that were drilled on the Sveinson target and the highlights of two holes can be found here below.

As you notice, the intervals have intriguing base metal levels with for instance a robust 4.1% ZnPb in hole SQ23-084 and an even more impressive 17.7% ZnPb (with the majority of that mix consisting of zinc) on top of the 1.5 g/t gold and 89 g/t silver for a total silver-equivalent grade of just over 900 g/t. The location of holes 84 and 86 is interesting as well: Equity Metals disclosed these holes were drilled as an attempt to close the 200 meter long gap in the Sveinson deposit. And while holes 84 and 86 were highlighted, as you can see below, holes 85 and 87 weren’t barren either but the mineralized intervals in hole 85 were pretty narrow while in hole 87 the grade wasn’t as high as in the highlighted holes.

The company also released the assay results from three holes drilled at the Camp Deposit. The main interval was 0.7 meters (true width) containing 790 g/t silver-equivalent (with 742 g/t silver and 1.3% ZnPb) and this hole, SQ23-082, was highlighted because it seems to extend the mineralization at the Camp Vein further to the west. According to the company, the results encountered at Camp Vein indicate there might be a blind shallow target north of the main vein set, under alluvium.

While the company was waiting for the assay results to be released from the lab, it already completed just over 2,300 meters of core drilling at the George Lake target. Seven holes were completed and according to Equity Metals’ press release, drilling has confirmed visual mineralization around historical intercepts and this extends the lateral projection of the mineralization by approximately 400 meters to the southeast and to up to 250 meters below surface. Assay results are expected in the next few weeks.

Equity Metals also plans to drill the Cole Lake target but drilling has been suspended due to wildfire risk in the area.
