Nevada Copper (NCU.TO) has announced the land bill which will simplify its permitting process for the Pumpkin Hollow project has reached another milestone as the newly published senate calendar officially lists the land bill as being ready for senate floor action. This means the bill can now be brought on the floor and could be voted for any time, and there’s a chance this already might happen during the current session of the senate in May and June.

The approval of the land bill will be a major step forward for Nevada Copper because should this bill be approved, it would shorten the permitting process for the open pit part of the Pumpkin Hollow mine by approximately two years.
