Zinnwald Lithium  (ZNWD.L) released an updated resource calculation for its flagship and namesake Zinnwald project in Germany. This updated resource includes the data from almost 27,000 meters of additional drilling and has allowed the company to increase the tonnage by a factor of five while the total llthium content tripled. The Zinnwald project now contains almost 194 million tonnes of rock in the measured and indicated resource category at an average grade of 2,220 ppm Li (which represents just under 0.48% Li2O) with an additional 33 million tonnes in the inferred resource category at a slightly lower grade.

The updated resource will allow the company to pursue a more efficient bulk underground mining scenario which will likely increase the annual lithium production (compared to the 2022 PEA) while the mine life could be extended as well.
