Towards the end of last month, Group Eleven Resources (ZNG.V) released the assay results from the first hole testing the deeper copper-silver target on the Ballywire discovery, part of its fully-owned PG West project in Ireland.
The drill bit encountered intermittent mineralization over 240 meters, and the bullet points below highlight the most important assay results at and below the Waulsortian Limestone.

These results confirm the presence of copper-silver (and some antimony) in the ‘Deeper Target’, below the base of the Waulsortian Limestone. Two additional holes were drilled just to the north-northwest and south-southeast are currently being drilled to gather more data on this discovery. A fourth rig will likely be added to speed up drilling.
According to CEO Bart Jaworski, encountering the mineralization at the Deeper Target ‘doubles the exploration potential’ and the company is getting ready to expand on the discovery up dip, down dip, and along the entire 2.6 kilometer long strike length. Fault-controlled copper-silver mineralization tends to get stronger with increased shattering along the structure.
