Cliffmont Resources (CMO.V) has announced an exploration update for their San Luis project in Colombia.
The company has completed a chip and grab sample program at the newly discovered La Julia zone, where excellent drill results were released earlier this year. Cliffmont announced in January intercepts of 10.5 meters at 5.9g/t gold and 15 meters at 2.11g/t gold. This sampling program was designed to follow up on those drill results, and to delineate new drill targets as well as identifying the extent of the La Julia discovery.

The sampling program was carried out over a surface area of 600,000 square meters, and gold values ranged from 0.1 to 342 g/t.

Cliffmont expects its environmental license for the San Jorge zone to be issued very soon, and is aiming to re-start production at San Jorge within the year.
