Luminex Resources (LR.V) continues to tick the boxes while advancing its Los Cuyes deposit, part of the Condor North project. The company recently released the results of an updated metallurgical test program conducted on its Cuyes West zone. The company confirmed about 15% of the gold could be recovered via a gravity circuit and announced a total recovery rate of 93.2% for the gold and 90.1% for the silver using a standard bulk flotation process which reduces the mass by 88%.

Subsequently, two options were also examined and whole ore cyanidation resulted in recovery rates of 90.9% and 33.6%  for gold and silver and the cyanide leaching of the bulk flotation concentrate yielded recovery rates of 91.4% for the gold and 50.6% for silver. Additional optimization of the grind size could and should increase the recovery rates.

The results of the metallurgical test work further confirm the potential of the project where the mineral resources are already pretty sizeable, as you can see above.
