Maverix Metals (MMX.TO, MMX) has published the final production numbers for 2019 and thanks to an attributable gold-equivalent production of 7,000 ounces in the final quarter of the year, Maverix ends the year with a total attributable production of 24,000 ounces. The company hasn’t published its financial results yet and considering Maverix only published its FY 2018 results at the end of March last year, we probably still are a few weeks away from seeing the financial results on the back of this strong final quarter of the year.

For 2020, Maverix is eyeing an attributable production rate of 27-30,000 ounces of gold (on an equivalent basis) which seems like a fair target considering the annualized output based on the Q4 production rate is 28,000 gold-equivalent ounces per year. This, combined with the current gold price which appears to hold its ground above $1600/oz, bodes well for 2020.
