Mediterranean Resources (MNR.TO) has announced new samples from the northern part of its newly discovered Hilal zone at the Celtik concession in Turkey.

The company discovered a nort-northeast trending mineralized zone stretching out over approximately a kilometer, with a quartz-vein with a thickness of up to 70cm. A total of 29 chip samples were taken and assays returned values of up to 29% copper and 47g/t silver. CEO Christopher Ecclestone comments ‘The Yusufeli epithermal system seems to be open in all directions, and we’re currently working on generating and prioritizing drill targets’.
