In yet another exploration update, Metanor Resources (MTO.V) has told the market it has intercepted a 1.5 meter interval with an average grade of almost 0.6 ounces of gold per tonne. That’s an interesting intercept, but what makes it more appealing is the fact the drill bit encountered this zone at just 80 meters away from existing infrastructure at Level 12 of the Bachelor Lake gold mine.

That’s an interesting result as Metanor doesn’t really know what vein this occurrence belongs to. The company will now follow up on this hole by drilling three more holes to see the extension of this mineralized zone.
