Orla Mining (OLA.TO, ORLA) publishes its financial results on August 9th but has already provided the market with the production numbers. In the second quarter of the year, the company poured a total of 25,672 ounces of gold at the Camino Rojo gold project in Mexico. This brings the H1 2022 production to 48,700 ounces of gold and it isn’t a big surprise to see Orla confirming its full-year guidance at 90,000-100,000 ounces of gold as this means the company only needs to produce 41,300-51,300 ounces of gold in the second semester.

That shouldn’t be an issue given the strong production results and Orla may even come in at the higher end or even exceed the upper end of that range as the processing throughput exceeded nameplate capacity during the second quarter.
