Proto Resources (ASX:PRW) has announced they expect to drill a fourth vertical hole on the Lindemans Bore project in the Northern Territory. This diamond hole is targeting the FLTEM-anomaly which was discovered in 2011, and will be drilled to a depth of 600 meters. Hole LBD04 will be drilled approximately 1.5 km from LBD03, which seems to have been drilled on the western side of the anomaly.

When asked for a reaction, Managing Director Andrew Mortimer comments ‘The Proto geological team has a preference for drilling vertical holes first off before doing angle holes. The geology we intercepted in the third hole told us that we were on the western margin of the EM anomaly because of the high barium results which were as high as .8%. We have intercepted copper and gold as mentioned in Wednesday’s announcement i.e. chalcopyrite with the quartz carbonate stringer stock works. We commence this drill hole this week and we are very confident that we will have an exploration success from it.’
