Curis Resources (CUV.TO) has closed a private placement, raising C$6M by issuing shares at an price of C$0.88/share without warrants. The shares will be placed with Sino-Canada Natural Resources Fund I and Sino Canada Zheshang Mining Investment.

Curis is currently trading at C$0.66/share, which is a 25% discount versus the the price at which the capital raise was conducted.

Thomas Lau, Managing Partner of the Sino-Canada Natural Resources Fund has expressed his support for the development of Curis’ Florence Project in Arizona, stating they will keep supporting the company to bring their copper project into production in the near term.
