Falco Resources (FPC.V) has announced three new people have been nominated for a director’s position at the company. It looks like chairman Sean Roosen played an important role in selecting the new nominees as they could all be considered to be heavy-weights in the mining industry.

First up is Claude Ferron who actually started his career at the Horne mine as a metallurgist, meaning he could play a key role in fine-tuning the processes to recover all the commodities in the Horne ore. Additionally, he was COO for Xstrata Copper Canada so he definitely knows the in-and-out’s of the sector. Other nominees Luc Lessard was the COO of Osisko Mining which developed the Canadian Malartic gold mine in Québec and René Marion was the CEO of AuRico gold during approximately five years.

All three nominees have excellent experience and it’s quite unique for a tiny junior exploration company like Falco Resources to attract people of such calibre. Their appointments will undoubtedly be approved by the general meeting and these three guys deserve to be appointed unanimously.
