Highway 50 Gold (HWY.V) has now started the 5,000 meter Phase I drill program on its Gold Knob gold project in Nevada. Most holes will range from 180 meters to 425 meters, which means that a total of 10 to 15 holes are expected to be drilled.

The drill program is designed to test the gold mineralization in the Valmy and Comus rocks, the same rock types as in the Turquoise Ridge district. The technical team of course hopes to validate its interpretation that “a major gold system exists at depth”.
