Blackheath Resources (BHR.V) has completed a preliminary exploration program on its Borralha project in northern Portugal. The company completed six trenches on the southern part of the project, with noteworthy intercepts such as 5 meters at 1.09% WO3 included in 20 meters at 0.33% WO3. As this southern zone has never been drilled, this trenching program gives the technical team valuable information to generate potential drill targets. The brecchia zone seems to have a surface area of at least 100,000m² but has not seen any exploration to drill-test the mineralization at depth.

Blackheath also drilled two holes on the northern part of the project to search for mineralized zones on strike with past-producing wolframite veins. These drill results won’t cause a lot of excitement as the company only intersected three one-meter intercepts at grades between 0.21-0.29% WO3. The grade is decent and comparable to other tungsten projects in Southern Europe, but the intercepts are quite short (but encouraging as these were just two very preliminary holes).

We plan to release a Q&A report with Vice-President Alexander Langer shortly.
