Bonterra Resources BTR Gladiator 2

Excellent news from BonTerra Resources (BTR.V) today as the company has published some initial results from its winter drill program at the Gladiator gold project in Québec, Canada. These assay results were releases sooner than we expected, but after seeing the grades, it’s understandable  why BonTerra was very keen on releasing the assay results for the first four holes rightaway instead of waiting for more lab reports.

All four holes intersected high grade gold and the two shallow intercepts in hole 1 (2.9 meters at 8.4 g/t gold and 3.6 meters at 8.6 g/t gold from 56.1 meters to 64 meters down hole) appear to be real money-makers considering the proximity to surface, the width and the average grade. BonTerra also confirmed the continuity of the Main Zone at depth with 2 meters at 3.5 g/t gold from 956 meters, whilst the 6.5 meters at 16.9 g/t gold and 1.5 meters at 14.1 g/t gold in hole 4 will add a lot of value as well.

The most important takeaway from these first few drill results is the continuity of the gold mineralization. That’s incredibly important when you’re trying to design an underground mine plan as continuity will be a key factor for a very efficient operation.
